This policy applies to digital products purchased directly from the Hidden Loves Studio website.
Hidden Loves Studio is operated by Alexandra Simpson as a sole trader.
1. Digital Products
Hidden Loves Studio sells digital products only.
For standard template purchases, you will receive a PDF containing a link to access your purchased Canva template.
No physical product will be posted or delivered, and printing is not included in your purchase.
Our templates are designed to be edited by the customer using Canva. Unless a product description states otherwise, templates are designed for use with a free Canva account.
Please read the relevant product description carefully before purchasing to make sure the product is suitable for your requirements.
2. Digital Delivery
Digital products are supplied electronically following successful payment.
For standard template purchases, your digital PDF contains the link required to access your Canva template.
You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and other information when placing your order.
If you experience a problem receiving your digital product or accessing the template link supplied by Hidden Loves Studio, please contact alex@hiddenlovesstudio.com.
3. Cancellation Rights for Digital Products
Digital content is subject to specific cancellation rules.
Where you request immediate access to your digital product before the end of the applicable statutory cancellation period, you will be asked to expressly consent to supply of the digital content beginning immediately and to acknowledge that, once supply begins, you will lose your statutory right to cancel.
UK government guidance states that where downloads are supplied immediately, the customer must agree to the instant download and confirm before the download begins that they understand they will lose their 14-day cancellation right. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
4. Change-of-Mind Cancellations
If digital supply has not yet begun, please contact alex@hiddenlovesstudio.com as soon as possible if you wish to cancel your order.
Once supply of the digital content has begun following the required express consent and acknowledgement, your change-of-mind cancellation right may no longer apply.
Changing your mind does not affect any separate rights you may have if the digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
5. Problems With Digital Content
If there is a problem with your purchased digital product, please contact alex@hiddenlovesstudio.com.
This could include circumstances where:
- The digital product cannot be accessed using the instructions supplied
- The purchased template is technically faulty
- The product does not match its description
- An advertised component of the purchased product is missing
- The digital content otherwise does not conform to applicable consumer requirements
Please include:
- Your name
- Your order number
- The email address used to place your order
- The product purchased
- A description of the problem
- Screenshots where helpful
We will investigate the issue and provide any remedy to which you are entitled under applicable consumer law.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, where qualifying digital content does not conform to the contract, UK consumers can have rights to repair or replacement and, in relevant circumstances, a price reduction. [legislation.gov.uk], [legislation.gov.uk]
Nothing in this policy limits those statutory rights.
6. Customer Editing and Proofing
Our standard templates are designed for you to personalise yourself.
You are responsible for checking your completed design carefully before downloading, sharing or printing it.
This includes checking:
- Names
- Dates
- Times
- Venue information
- Addresses
- Spelling
- Grammar
- Photographs
- Colours
- Any other wording or information you add or change
A refund will not normally be provided solely because you have made an error while editing or proofing your template.
This does not affect your statutory rights where there is a fault with the digital product itself.
7. Other Change-of-Mind Requests
Subject to your statutory rights, a refund will not normally be provided solely because:
- You changed your mind after digital supply began following the required consent and acknowledgement
- You purchased the wrong template despite the product being accurately described
- You entered incorrect names, dates, wording or other information
- You made an editing mistake
- You no longer require the product
- Your chosen printer produced an unsatisfactory result for reasons unrelated to the supplied digital product
- Printed colours differ from those displayed on your screen because of differences between screens, printers, inks, printing processes or paper
- You expected a physical item where the product listing clearly stated that the purchase was a digital product
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where the digital content is faulty, misdescribed or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
8. Printing and Colour Variations
Hidden Loves Studio does not provide printing or physical stationery.
You are responsible for arranging the printing of your completed designs.
Colours can vary between screens and printed products due to differences in displays, printers, inks, paper stocks and printing processes.
If colour accuracy is particularly important to you, we recommend obtaining a test print or print proof from your chosen printer before placing a larger printing order.
This does not affect your statutory rights where the digital product supplied by Hidden Loves Studio is itself faulty or not as described.
9. Duplicate Purchases
If you accidentally purchase the same digital product more than once, please contact alex@hiddenlovesstudio.com as soon as possible.
We will review duplicate purchase requests based on the relevant orders and circumstances.
Nothing in this section limits any rights provided by applicable consumer law.
10. Canva Access
Hidden Loves Studio templates are designed for use with a free Canva account unless expressly stated otherwise in the individual product description.
Canva is an independent third-party platform and is not operated by Hidden Loves Studio.
If the template link supplied by Hidden Loves Studio does not work correctly, please contact us so we can investigate.
Issues relating solely to Canva itself, including general platform outages, individual Canva account restrictions, device compatibility or changes independently introduced by Canva, may be outside Hidden Loves Studio's control.
We will take reasonable steps to help establish whether the Hidden Loves Studio template you purchased can be accessed as described.
11. Custom Orders and Customisation
Our standard products are self-editable templates. If you require customisation or a bespoke variation, please contact alex@hiddenlovesstudio.com before purchasing custom work.
Any additional price, scope, delivery arrangements and relevant cancellation terms for custom work will be provided before the custom order is placed.
Where custom work or another service begins at your request during an applicable cancellation period, different cancellation provisions may apply in accordance with applicable consumer law and any consent obtained when the order is placed.
12. Personal-Use Licence
Purchase of a Hidden Loves Studio template gives you a licence to use the template for one couple and one wedding or personal event.
You may:
- Edit the template for your own wedding or personal event
- Download your completed design
- Print the quantity reasonably required for that wedding or event
- Provide the completed design or necessary file to a professional printer solely for printing stationery for that wedding or event
You may not:
- Resell the template
- Redistribute the template
- Share the Canva template or template access link with another couple or customer
- Sell an edited version of the design
- Use the design to create products for commercial resale
- Make the template available for other people to copy or download
- Claim the original Hidden Loves Studio design as your own
Purchase of a template does not transfer ownership of the original design or its intellectual property rights to you.
13. International Customers
Hidden Loves Studio sells digital products to customers worldwide.
If you are purchasing from outside the United Kingdom, you may also have mandatory consumer rights under the laws applicable to you.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
14. Refund Processing
Where a refund or price reduction is due, it will be processed using the original payment method unless another method is lawfully agreed.
The time taken for returned funds to appear in your account may depend on your payment provider or bank.
