Everything you need to know about Hidden Loves Studio templates, personalising your design and getting it ready to print.
What am I purchasing?
All Hidden Loves Studio products are digital templates only. No physical stationery will be posted to you.
Your purchase includes a PDF containing a link to your editable Canva template.
Do I need Canva Pro?
No. Hidden Loves Studio templates are designed to be edited using a free Canva account.
How do I access my template?
After purchasing, download the PDF included with your order. Inside you’ll find a link to open your template in Canva.
You can then save a copy to your Canva account and start personalising it.
What can I edit?
This varies slightly by design, but templates are created so you can personalise the important details yourself, including things such as names, dates, venue details and wording.
Many designs also allow you to change colours, photographs or other elements. Check the individual product description for details of what can be personalised.
Can I change the wording?
Yes. The wording is there as a starting point and can be edited in Canva to suit your wedding.
Can I change the colours?
Many designs allow colours to be personalised. Where colours or specific design elements have different editing options, this will be explained on the individual product page.
Can I add my own photographs?
If the design includes a photo area, yes. You can easily upload your own photograph into Canva and add it to the template.
What are the hidden details?
Some Hidden Loves Studio collections feature subtle personal details woven into the artwork.
Depending on the design, these might reference travel, football, books, gaming, nature or something completely unexpected. They're designed to feel like part of a beautiful wedding invitation first, with another layer to discover when you look a little closer.
Can the hidden details be personalised?
This depends on the individual design.
Where personalisation of specific artwork or hidden details is available, you'll find the options in the product description. If you have something different in mind, please get in touch about a custom listing.
Can you customise a design for me?
Possibly. If you'd like a change that can't be made yourself within the template, email alex@hiddenlovesstudio.com before purchasing and I'll let you know whether I can help.
More substantial changes may require a separate custom listing.
Will you edit the invitation for me?
Standard purchases are designed for you to edit yourself in Canva.
If you need something more bespoke, get in touch before purchasing to discuss a custom listing.
How do I print my invitations?
Once you've finished editing, you can download your design from Canva and arrange printing yourself.
You can use a professional online printer, a local print shop or print at home where appropriate. Always check your chosen printer's file and bleed requirements before downloading your final design.
Will the printed colours look exactly like they do on my screen?
Not necessarily. Colours can vary between screens and can also change depending on the printer, ink, paper and printing method used.
If colour matching is particularly important, ordering a test print or proof before placing a large print order is a good idea.
Do you provide printing?
No. Hidden Loves Studio currently sells digital templates only, allowing you to choose your own printer, paper and finish.
Can I print as many copies as I need?
Yes. Your purchase is licensed for personal use for one couple and one wedding, and you can print the copies you reasonably need for that wedding.
The template itself cannot be resold, shared, redistributed or used to create products for commercial sale.
Can I share the Canva template with someone else?
You can provide your finished downloaded file to a professional printer so they can print your stationery.
The editable Canva template or template-access link should not be shared with other couples, resold or redistributed.
Do you offer refunds?
Different rules apply to digital content, particularly once access has been provided.
If there's a problem with your purchase, your template is faulty or what you've received isn't as described, please email alex@hiddenlovesstudio.com and I'll help resolve it.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
Can I use my template outside the UK?
Absolutely. Hidden Loves Studio templates are sold worldwide and the wording can be edited to suit your celebration.
Just remember to check sizes and printing requirements with your chosen printer, particularly if you're printing outside the UK.
